The humble mangrove tree, which plays a central role in blue carbon projects, became our central metaphor for international conservation coordination. Roots represented the intertwining legal frameworks supporting the growth of conservation goals in the mangrove canopy.
To support the report launch, we also developed a puzzle infographic and supporting artwork that were downloadable documents and an interactive piece on the report's microsite.
