THE BRIEF
The International Union for Conservation of Nature was an anchor sponsor at IMPAC5 and wanted a conference stopping design that generated curiosity, conversation and captivated audiences.
With a very tight deadline, the visuals were developed with a composite technique using oceanic flora and fauna to build geometric mirroring patterns that evoked indigenous and folk art.
THE EVENT
The Fifth International Marine Protected Areas Congress or IMPAC5, is a a global forum that brings together delegates from 128 countries, including ocean conservation professionals, high-level officials and indigenous peoples to inform, inspire and act on marine protected areas.
